after a difficult start, Carlo Bergstein, Kul Rozewater and Tors Nachtegaal brought RVC with easy playing to the next round.

Group B:
Bonbini Flamingos (Cur) - EC Carrancabacana (Bra) 2-0
the Flamingos have a very well-balanced team that defeated the Brazilians with efficiency. they were never in real trouble.

Group D:
LHC De Griffioen (NL) - Real Ziggazagga (Spa) 2-0
With a quick goal from Jan Poot, former Lürgen-Hannepen combination searched the second goal to withdraw at least with the Spanish from the first game. Far in the second half it succeeded. Penalties will decide who will go to the 2nd Round.
