Group A:
Bioritmo La Astralianza (Mex) - RVC´76 Huybergen (NL) 0-1
in the beginning the Mexicans had the game under control, however RVC showed that they have more potential in house with the new players Jerom Zomerzon and Kul Rozewater.

FC Optimistik Spitzborg (Swi) - Bavaria Neuschwanstein (Ger) 1-1
Spitzborg had to fight against the ambitious Germans who want to be champion of the Fantasyland Division 1 (FD1). The withdrawal is the maximum that the Swiss could obtain.

FC Boterblommeweide (NL) - Yogya Shangri-la Tigers (Ind) 2-0
the Dutch runner-up from the FD2 didn´t have any problem with the Indonesians. The two goals was actually too less. let´s see if Yogya can recover themselves in the second game.

Group B:
EC Carrancabacana (Bra) - Bonbini Flamingos (NAn) 1-1
The Brazilian topclub in FD3 had the big challenge to defeat the topclub from Curaçao (FD1). It looked like that Bonbini would win, but in the last minute EC Carrancabacana could score.

VfaL Siebenwolken-Glückstag (Ger) - Xingfu Lóng Dragon Warriors (Chi) 2-0
from the beginning on the Germans had the control over the game. It had to be much more than the two goals.

Group C:
AA Salut Joiedevivronne (Fra) - Undrahvitt Jólasveinnlandi (Fin) 2-1
the sensation of the day, the French from FD3 won over the Christmasland inhabitants (FD1). For a long time it was 2-0 and the hope of Joiedevivronne grew to have a change for the second round. At the end the Finnish woke up from their Christmas hangover and kept a good change to survive.

GGFC Croímaithdomhain (Ire) - Grüssgott Montafon (Austria) 1-2
a complete renewed team of the Gaelic Guardians instead of Greenleafgoblinn FC and the ambition to be in the top of FD3 increased the adrenalin to defeat the weak FD2 Montafon (already relegated from FD1 last year). After the first goal from Dorian Lugh the confidence grew even more. But Montafon did what they were hired for and kept the victory on their side.

Group D:
Collants de Petits Sacs (Can) - AS Cipressiaggio (Ita) 1-1
it shouldn´t had to be a difficult game for the Italians, but the Collants were fighting for everyhting they are believing in. They are already the bottom of FD3, so they don´t have so much to lose. Cipressiaggio played with half speed to obtain the withdrawal.

Ichigononiji Samurais (Jap) - LHC De Griffioen (NL) 2-0
the team from Japan with more foreigners than Japanese due to the financial feedback from a Japanese multinational, sold already many players, so that the stars reduced to only 1. The Dutch from FD1 fought to have an easy game, but forgot completely the only two Japanese starplayers, especially Yin Zhai who scored twice.
